2009-08-03	Sunday Night Awesome night. Really enjoyed all the great energy! My bandmates kicked ass as usual so thank you dudes. Kenny kicked ass as usual (thanks dude). I thank every one that came out to see MV. Met lots of new friends--really cool people! (Mike & Jackie thanks.) Oh no i'm forgetting all the staff at the Croc--Thank you! Rock on!
2009-07-14	Saturday @ the Pony I'd like to thank everyone that made it out to the Pony to see us, and for all the kind words and encouragement! Props to my bandmates (J, Russ, Adrian, Chigger). These dudes are a full of energy on stage and it's contagious!
2008-02-05	Saturday's Pony Show I wanted to thank everyone who made it to the Pony...Was really cool playing to lots of friends (new & old) and family! What can i say that has not been said. J and Chris are not only my bandmates but my family, we all have each other's backs for better or for worse...I think that that is what makes up our chemistry in this band--and it is finally starting to truely show in our performances! we have come a long way...many changes, obstacles...but we're still here going and growing. I could not ask for better musicians to be on stage with. I would also like to thank the guys in Trimm (awsome sharing the stage with you dudes)...Special thanks to Jim Chester (Trimm's guitarist) for being such a pal and helping me with all my gear (thanks dude). Just was an awesome night! Thank you!!
2008-01-11	Cagney's I think the gig at Cagneys went well; real cool that so many people showed up to see us, especially Chris's family--& it was his mom's birthday--how cool! It was another enjoyable night with the MV family. The only weird thing is how once in a while we'll have someone show up that hates the band! I don't get it! If you don't like MV and all it's parts, don't come out to see us! Why would you? But i'm very thankful for the folks that do come out to support us! thanx
2008-01-03	Lean and Clean Well,i was excited to have a fourth member as i had said in the last blog. However it seems it's better that the THREE AMIGOS continue their journey on their own. Like J said in his blog--will we ever learn?! I think we do a much better job of interpreting the songs in a clean manner. It's a little leaner but then the real focus comes across. J deserves a major pat on the back! (proud of you Bro) Playing bass & singing lead is no easy task (i have a hard time with backing vox While playing guitar) but he's doing an awesome job! I guess thats MV KARMA. Want something done right--got to do it yourself.
2007-12-13	Been a long time... Long time since I've posted anything, so now is the time! Lot's of changes in MV. Some were hard & some not. Very excited to have Steve on board, brings a whole new energy to the band--and boy did we need it! 2008 looks very promising. lots of ideas & concepts being tossed around. I hope that when we get out to gig that our new energy and excitement shows and influences people around us. This world is in need of lots of positive energy. It'll be very cool to get out and see all the MV family again! SEE YOU SOON AT A STAGE NEAR YOU !!!!
2007-08-30	HEY!!! Hey. Been a long time since I posted a blog, so here it is: Things are moving along at a nice pace which is good--it gives us time to really plan & think our next step. We've had some bumps along the way--seems like there's a lot of hate coming our way, but that is good because what doesn't break us, makes us stronger and fight harder. We are a bunch of nice dudes but personally I give only one chance. If someone blows it thats it--ONE STRIKE AND YOUR OUT! More soon.
2007-04-26	HEY! What can i say? So far this recording process has been awesome, exhausting, frustrating and lots of work, however i would not change a thing. That's how records are made, you know! I feel this is the real deal because J and I both went through so many varied emotions to get this thing where it's at-- which is very close to the end of this record. All i hope for is that the energy we put into this makes someone feel good. I sure feel it every time i hear it, and that, my friends, is weird. Us musicians never like what we've played on. Somehow this time around something is different. See yaaaaaa.....
2007-03-07	THE ALBUM Don't know where to start. We 've been working hard on this album. It is fun but frustrating at times. I guess that is part of the game! I feel really confident about what is tracked already and I think J does too. For a long time I've been hoping to hook up with some good people and do something pro (like we are doing), create a product that I can truly be proud of, and I think things are going that route. So what more can I say other than I hope when the album is done that the love and hard work we are putting into this shows!!!!!
2006-12-24	Merry Christmas Hey just wanted to wish all in the MEANVENUS family a Merry Christmasand wanted to say please hang in there. I promise we are hard at work to deliver a fuckin sonic master piece. I'm very confident of what this record will do for us. I hope everyone will feel the same! We'll see.
2006-11-31	Tight Oh man, it's getting there. We had rehearsal yesterday and we are really tight! Things are definitely looking great for Mean Venus.
2006-11-25	Real Band Me and the guys got together over the weekend and worked on the tunes. It felt really good because now i really feel like we're a real band--not that it didn't feel that way before but now the songs have a little piece of everyone's creativity, and that will make us tight. Can't wait to start recording this stuff. It'll be a blast!
